Day 40
Lotte World! Those holding a Shinhan bank card only needs to pay 16k won to get into Lotte World. Before that we had lunch at the mall before heading to Lotte World...
Lunch was some Vietnam noodle that was found at the basement of the food court...
We had to take approximately 1 hour ride from our apartment before we are able to reach Jamsil station where the Lotte World Theme park is at...
It's more than 50% off the actual ticket and the promotion only ends at the end of this month... so we decided to go there on the very last day.... I was really scared as I had not taken any trilling rides before in my life, not even those in Universal Studio Singapore.... but this time it was different... I've tried so many rides with my friends.... it was raining in the afternoon so we had to stay indoor most of the time... the first ride that we took was the Wild Valley..
It was like the transformer ride in Singapore but less exciting... overall this was okay...
Next we went out to the outdoor park to try our luck to see if the rides were open...
As most of the rides were closed... we decided to buy some fries... we did try all the flavors as all of us ordered all different ones... the spicy ones were a killer though...
After our fries we saw people queuing up for the rides so out first ride in the outdoor theme park was the Gyro Swing... This was really scary.... it's basically like the viking ship but this is a totally different new levels, your feet can't touch the floor and you get to enjoy 360 degree of the view while being swing up till 180 degree... I did scream from the start to the end....
Next ride was Gyro Drop... by the name itself you can guess what is it...
For this we decided to play it with the Virtual Reality (VR) on us which makes it even more thrilling... I did closed my eyes and open here and there to see what's happening in the VR... inside the VR is some digital construction site, from there you could tell when you are about to fall from the height because all the construction starts to tear down etc... the feeling of dropping down from a height was too scary for me to take it... I scream at the top of my lungs....
We met up with one of our friends after the ride and head of to take the Swing Tree which was our third ride, this was like a miniature ride as compared to the one they had in Genting Highland outdoor theme park... It was fun at first but you'll get a little dizzy right after a few turns.... besides to play this in a cold weather... you can really feel the cold wind blowing at you non stop... after the ride and you stepped down, it a whole different world....
Fourth ride was the Atlantis adventure... this was like a roller coaster but in the dark... and it goes very fast... there was a warning saying that we might suffered from some injuries during the process and ya.. I was one of them that suffered from a back ache when the ride ended....
All the rides we took were very thrilling.... including this one... after that we decided to have dinner first before continuing our journey to the next rides... we decided to have dinner at the restaurant inside the theme park as we are not allowed for any re-entry after exiting... we searched for a few places before we came to a conclusion on this restaurant, Iron Bull... It was a buffet... the spread of it was not very wide... but I did like the nacho chips and the lychee there... the lychee was icy cold it did sting my fingers a little while I was peeling it open... I didn't mind the sting since it was really nice..
After dinner we decided to take a few more rides... we played the Bumper Cars, fifth ride, this was the less thrilling one that we played and this was really quite fun right after the dinner we had... next we decided to take the roller coaster but because they have the 360 degree turn we decided to play other rides first before we proceed to that... we also went ahead with the Dragon Wild Shooting ride, sixth ride... basically you will have to shoot all the dragons you see on the screen while seated on the tram...
The Conquistador,Viking ship, was the seventh ride was the next ride that we took... I was really scared to death for this... since I had just finish my dinner I was afraid that I might puke my whole dinner out and moreover seeing people screaming does not make me feel any good at all.... during the process of the ride... I injure one of my friend finger as I was holding on to him too tightly.... :(
The Drunken Basket was the eighth ride, it's basically the spinning cup... you could control the speed of the spin... but because of the Conquistador rider we took previously, my stomach starts to feel a little uncomfortable... one of my friend went ahead with the Giant Loop which basically turns you upside down 360 degree in a slow motion....
After the Drunken Basket... most of us were tired and it was also getting late... the theme park closes at 11pm and we left at about 1030pm... we spent almost 8 hours in the theme park queuing and playing the different rides.... however we have to take another 1 hour of train ride before we could reach back to our apartment....
The train ride was quite bad.... had a lot of thoughts going through... wanted to distant myself away... sat down on the seat and the same thing happened as before.... those happy moments in the theme park was gone in that few minutes... closed my eyes all the way until I reached the station... things just changed so quickly... you just don't know what to expect next... it hurts me a lot every single time... :'(
