Day 30

It's nearly a month of stay in Korea now... I've not fully got used to the living conditions here... it's still very cold here throughout the day especially during the night time... woke up a few times because of the cold weather... there's no school today but had to make a trip down to the Seoul Immigration Office to collect my Alien Registration Card... left house at 1115 but was lucky that we could collect our cards as they lunch break was at 12 and we reached there at 1150... the process was fast... after collection we went back home to cook our own lunch... as I was craving something spicy, I cook for myself this rice cake with some sausages and dumplings... aside form that we also made a cheese egg omelette because we failed at making half boiled eggs in the morning so we used those egg to make that...
  

After lunch, I had to do my readings and prepare for the upcoming quiz... there was really a lot of readings to do for this particular module... halfway through the readings, I went to the market with the rest to purchase the ingredients for dinner later... they are preparing the ABC soup, stir fry chicken and vegetables and lastly cheese egg omelette again as they mentioned that they wanted another side dish...

We needed the corn to make the soup but we couldn't find any in the market in the end we got the ones that are already cooked... here is the outcome...
    

The soup was really tasty as we boiled t for quite some time with the pork ribs, carrots, green onions and potatoes... I make the egg omelette but it failed because I used too little oil... :'(

This makes me feels like home again as my mum always make that soup.. after dinner, I had some ice cream... and this tasted especially delicious and I do not know why.... normally I don't have the intention of having the ice cream but since I bought this for so long ago and left it in the fridge for almost a few weeks, I thought of just having some for today and it was really nice, not like the ones I shared with my friends previously...

After that ice cream, went back to the room to study again....
Today was just tired... felt lonely here and there for some moment... then came in the sadness.... I was glad that I did not tear today... hopefully tomorrow's better....

Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad! We went to down town east to dine at Sakura intentional buffet restaurant. Well... I would say that the food there was not as delicious as before. I’ve been there quite a few times and this time round, it’s okay. Overall, I enjoy eating there! I had a great time. We also went shopping because I was too full... I’ve been eating a lot since holiday started. I think I have gain weight! I hope not. School reopening soon; I hope I can do well.

I came back from the Chinese Orchestra camp yesterday and I am very tired. My family and I went to watch the movie Astro Boy as my sister have two free tickets. To me, the story was very interesting. The film begins in Metro City, a small city that floats above Earth, which is now covered in discarded robot parts. Toby Tenma finishes a physics pop quiz ahead of all his classmates and is free to leave, so he rewires Orrin (the family servant robot) who takes Toby to the Ministry of Science. Toby's father, Dr. Tenma, is at the ministry, meeting with President Stone and Dr. Elefun. They have captured two cores of energy, a "positive" (good) core and a "negative" (evil) core. Toby is placed in a room where he is supposed to stay until the end of the demonstration, but he escapes and runs off to the demonstration room.
