Day 2

Went to the nearest CitiBank today to try and see if I'm able to withdraw money from the bank. We tried several times using the ATM just outside the branch but was not able to do so so we ended up going up to the branch to ask about it. It did work in the ATM that was located in the branch but not for the ones outside the branch. But anyway we did managed to find the ATM to withdraw the money so that keeps me less worried about my expenses.

Had cereals for breakfast

On our way to the CitiBank branch

After successfully withdrawing the money, we went to 홍대 to shop while waiting for another friend of ours to arrive. We were freezing cold there and
so we had to go to the different shops and pretend that we are shopping as there are warmers inside the
each of the shops to keep us warm.

One of the convenience store G25 that we went into to keep our self warm from the cold
Here is the snapshot of the smoking chimney which I took randomly
While waiting for our friends to arrive we also managed to scout for some cheap places to have our lunch at and some of the food there are really very affordable. In the end we went to have the army stew since the weather is too cold

this is the place where we had our army stew, it was really good

Army stew!

After our lunch we went around 홍대 area to shop for more cosmetics and went back to our apartment to rest
before heading out for dinner. Since the weather is too cold, we decided to have dinner at
Mecenatpolis Mall which was just a few minutes walk away.

안동찜닭 steamed chicken

An Dong Steam Chicken, the noodles wasn't very nice though as it was very chewy and tough to break
After dinner, we went to Home Plus, supermarket, to get all the groceries that we need to cook at home.
We got all the necessity such as eggs, bread, peanut butter, sausages, ham etc. After our payment we
had to carry all those stuff back to our apartment and the weather was freezing cold!

Skype with my mum and dad at night to update each other about life here in Korea and also keep me
update on what's happening at home...
