Day 9

Hanyang Orientation Day, finally made our way to school for orientation today, the subway ride wasn't very long, it was about the same as how I go to school in Singapore. Apparently we were almost late and came out of the subway and ran towards our destination...

The faculty there also booked the whole cinema for the screening of the movie for the exchange students... Each of the students gets to redeem a free ticket at the Wangshimi Cinema with this ticket

 

I didn't went ahead to watch the movie as I already had plans to meet up with my other friends in Incheon in the late evening for stay over at their place. 

Once the orientation was over, all of us were very hungry as we didn't have the time to grab lunch, so one of our friend brought us to the rice burger place for lunch. The rice burger was cheap and it was really very filing! This is just a few minutes walk away from our school and it cost only 2500 won. There are alot of other choices to choose from, will definitely come down here to try all of them. This burger comes with a spoon so we thought we unwrap the burger and use the spoon to scoop it up and eat it. However, half way through our meals, the owner told us that we have to flatten the burger and eat it like the burger, we were all embarrassed.... then why the spoon? hmmm....

  

After lunch, we walked to wangsimni station 왕십리역 to head back to our apartment pack our bags before heading to Incheon. We reached there at about 7 plus. I felt bad as we held back their dinner time by a lot...

For dinner, we have a very special Singaporean dish, Bak kut teh 肉骨茶!! One of our friends brought it all the way from Singapore and so we decided to cook this dish at their apartment together with the cheese egg and some stir fry vegetables!

Simple dishes prepared by our friends and once again I felt so homely...

After dinner, we went down to the fruit stall to get some strawberries and also some corndog? (i'm not sure how you call it)

  

We had a hard time deciphering what each of the name means in English. My friend went up to one of the customer to ask about it and we did managed to get our hand on one of it! I didn't dare to take too much of it as it was Shrimp flavor, but it taste not too bad...

End of the night with some fruits and drinks, I was a little high, cried a lot (according to my friends), burden them again for taking care of me.... :'( that just feels bad at times... but anyway it was a good time spent together with them.... Really enjoyed my time with them.

Teared and cried a lot recently.... that sadness seems to hit me once again.... again, I've been trying to put on a happy front so that no one will realise anything except for two of my closest friend who is able to see through it... Really thankful and grateful for everything... Thanks for tolerating me for so long even though I treat you badly at times... I do apologize for that... I just couldn't control or think straight at times like this....
