Day 99

Today itinerary:

1. Buckon Hanbok Village

2. Gyeongbokgung Palace

3. Tosokchon Samgyetang

4. Cake Cutting

5. BBQ

First stop, we went to tour around the Buckon Hanbok Village... got some help from the tourrist guide station around the area and manage to get our way to the observatary... there was some construction going on so we didn't managedd to get the full view of it, but there were some places where the construsion site door are open so we did managed to sneak a few pictures of the full view....

After all the walking, we head down to have the traditional Gingseng Chicken at Tosokchon Samgyetang.... since it was tradition, it means that my family had to take of the shoes.... there were some difficulties going on there... some pins and needle experience along the way.... I was glad that they did enjoy the food there...

  

Next stop, rental... we went to rent the Hanbok near the station and head off to the Gyeongbokgung palace... however, the palace does not open on the Tuesday.... so we wore our Hanbok and walked all the way to the Changdeokgung palace instead.... it was really a long walk... the place there was beautiful.... there was a secret garden there but we did not get in as there was an entrance fee to it and we did not purchase the ticket when we were at the entrance... it was really a pity... but we did take a lot of photos wearing the hanbok at the palace...

  

After 3 hours of walking with the hanbok, all of us were tired so we head back to our apartment.... my sister and I went back to my apartment first to prepare for the surprise for my dad.... since it was my dad birthday today, we decided to buy a cake to celebrate it here.... we bought the cake near at my apartment and took a train ride back to my family apartment.... the person did provide us with some poppers. When we reach my family apartment, my sister and I prepared the poppers in place and we were hoping and praying that my dad was the one that open the door, and indeed it was, we then pop the popper... my did got a shocked from it and he was really all smiles :) the surprise was a success!

I told my mum to bring along the present that I got for my dad... my dad was complaining that he does not have enough clothing to wear today but after the cake cutting, he definitely has enough to wear...

After the cake cutting, we went to have some BBQ at Hong Dae.... 

I did enjoy the BBQ a lot, my parents did enjoy it too but not that much as I do because of all the fats that were on the meat... haha...

After dinner, we walked around the area and then I had to bid goodbye to them as I have to attend class the next day since it was a last lesson for 1 of the mods tomorrow.... I did feel kind of sad not staying together with my parents for a few day...
