Day 87 - First day in Jeju

Woke up early to fetch one of my friend from the airport today... we had lunch at the mencenanpolis mall before we head to myeong dong to change some money. The exchange rate there was about 806, which is better than Singapore I guess? After changing the money, we went back to our apartment to rest before we head out to Gimpo airport for our flight to Jeju... we nearly missed the check in time.... we were left with 10 minutes to check in when we arrive....
the flight was quite okay... not too bad... after our flight we went to the car rental place to get our car... as we have a lot of people we got a bigger car with 12 seater...
  

We managed to squeeze into the car with our luggage and got to the hostel that we are staying safely.... I was pretty impressed with the place that we are staying though... the room looks comfortable... all the guys got 1 room to themselves and the same goes for the girls...

right after we settled down, we went out to the nearby house to get some late dinner as we were all very hungry.... apparently I had very bad impression of this place.... first I saw ants crawling around,, next thing I knew I saw a cockroach right beside my friend chair, the shape of it looks weird and the colour of it just makes my hair stands....worst of all the plate that was served with the hot stew got a few ants crawling around it which left me disgusted..... there was also a weird smell coming from the place that I sit... worst restaurant ever... I would never want to go back to the place again... 
  

today was good... at least I'm not lonely....

Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad! We went to down town east to dine at Sakura intentional buffet restaurant. Well... I would say that the food there was not as delicious as before. I’ve been there quite a few times and this time round, it’s okay. Overall, I enjoy eating there! I had a great time. We also went shopping because I was too full... I’ve been eating a lot since holiday started. I think I have gain weight! I hope not. School reopening soon; I hope I can do well.

I came back from the Chinese Orchestra camp yesterday and I am very tired. My family and I went to watch the movie Astro Boy as my sister have two free tickets. To me, the story was very interesting. The film begins in Metro City, a small city that floats above Earth, which is now covered in discarded robot parts. Toby Tenma finishes a physics pop quiz ahead of all his classmates and is free to leave, so he rewires Orrin (the family servant robot) who takes Toby to the Ministry of Science. Toby's father, Dr. Tenma, is at the ministry, meeting with President Stone and Dr. Elefun. They have captured two cores of energy, a "positive" (good) core and a "negative" (evil) core. Toby is placed in a room where he is supposed to stay until the end of the demonstration, but he escapes and runs off to the demonstration room.
