Day 76 - 2nd Day in Busan
Woke up and met up with the rest at about 11am today... all were wearing shorts as we planned to go to the beach, me being the typically jeans and long sleeves.... First stop we decided to go to Jagalchi Market (부산 자갈치시장) to have our seafood lunch first before heading to the Busan Gamcheon Culture Village (부산 감천문화마을)... On our way there, there were a lot of street food stalls before we found our way to the Jagalchi Market (부산 자갈치시장)...
This was the fish market that we went to... the view outside the market was gorgeous, there were seagulls and we can even see the Busan bridge and the Culture Village from here....
After taking photos, we decided to go into the fish market, there were a lot of live seafood including the different kinds of fishes, shellfishes, and many others...
There were a lot of splashing here and there, a lot of blood too.... the smell in this fish market was fishy... after touring around, we decided on a stall that was recommended by one of my friend and ordered some seafood... here are what we got... live octopus, scallops, clams and abalone, grilled eel
The total was 80k so each of us had to pay 10k for the seafood.... It was nice but not that filling so some went ahead to get some Lotteria while I went to get some street food... This was different from the ones I had in Seoul, the filling was fried together in Seoul but here in Busan it done separately, the dough was fired first then the fillings was stuffed inside afterwards....
After filling our stomach, we went around looking for directions to the Busan Gamcheon Culture Village (부산 감천문화마을), we even asked the police officer that were partolling around and they told us that it was far away... we couldn't find the bus stop to reach there too so we decided to take the cab instead.... there were some traffic jams here and there... after about 20 minutes, we got to the destination! From some research they mentioned that it is very easy for us to get lost here so what we have to do is to follow the Fish... I kept looking around but there were no Fish to be found, some of them found it... maybe I was not observant enough.... we climb all the way just enough to know our way back.... the view was just gorgeous....
Took a lot of shots there before we left to Seomyeon 1 Beonga (Seomyeon First Street) (서면1번가) we walked around the area and chance across this Hotteok 호떡 stalls that sells different flavous of it... as we were all a little hungry, we decided to get the cheddar cheese and the meat one to try.... and it tasted great!
After snacking, we went to this stall to have our dinner, apparently you can take as much instant noodles as you can....
After dinner, we went to walked around the area before we head back to our apartment and walk around the area....
Apparently when the night approaches, the area near our hotel is more or less a red light district... there were policemen along the side of the road testing people for alcoholic levels... there will be some people doing inappropriate things in the convenience stall (we saw a couple, touching/ kissing inappropriately, they looked kind of drunk though..)
There were a lot of shops that had some inappropriate pictures.... we walked one round, get some drinks and snacks and head back to our hotel...
During our dinner we talked about some superstitious stuff... so then I was scared... and we decided to have the drinks and snacking at our hotel rooms instead... was doing our project and drinking at the same time.... we ended our night late due to the editing our slides....
Did had some headache here and there but it was way much better as compared to 2 days ago...
