Day 97
DMZ!! Woke up early to head down to DMZ for a tour.... was feeling quite excited by it though... there was a bus that picked us up from the subway station and it brings us straight to DMZ....
There were some beautiful scenery there when we arrived... some places they do allow us to take pictures while other places it was forbidden....
First stop we arrived at Jimgak, a place where we can go up to the observatory to take a look at the view...
Next we went further into the DMZ to look at the separation between the North and South Korea
Apparently you can't really see it from the pictures here as it's really too small... Then we went to the Dorasan train station where there's only 1 train that operates during the day...
We also did went into the tunnel, we aren't allowed any electronic devices in, so we didn't took any pictures, we have to lower ourselves to enter the tunnel and it was really freezing cold there.... we could not access to the other end of the tunnel due to obvious reasons... but we were able to see the door from the other side of the tunnel.... going into the tunnel was easy but coming up was a pain....
After all the travelling, we were brought to some Gingseng shop to make some purchases before we ended our trip... I would say that the trip was okay... was a little rush here and there but other than that it was okay.... the bus dropped us at CityHall station and after which we travel to Ewha university to have lunch before we continue our shopping spree....
For lunch I had the cheese tteokbokki... I didn't find it spicy but my anut did claimed that it was too spicy though....
Shop around Ewha for a few hours, before we went back to our apartment rested for some time and head out to Hong Dae again to have some friend chicken and beer.... One of my friend mentioned that they found out the new Kyo Chon outlets in Hong Dae.... I took the risk without searching the outlet and just went ahead together with my family to search for it.... we did managed to find the outlet thanks to my friend guidance...
Dad ordered too much chicken for 6 people so we pack the rest back to my apartment for supper.... I then went out with my friends to get the shoes that we have always been wanting to buy for the past months... we finally got it.... gold!!! I was happy :) bid goodbye to my family as I'll be staying at my own apartment to do my projects and will be going over to their apartment in the early morning tomorrow...
Back at our apartment, we cook some roti prata with some curry and some meat for supper, together with the left over Kyo Chon chicken.... it was really a full full night....
