Day 103

Woke up early to head down to the famous beef soup stall near Myeong Dong to try it out... but it turned out to be a disappointment for me... the soup was bland... near to tasteless... moreover, it was on the pricey end... it cost about 15k for 1 bowl but one good point was that you can refill the soup as many times as you want...


After lunch, we went to walk around Myeong Dong.... there was some event going on there and people can participate it without purchasing anything... it was some kind of spin the wheel and if you are lucky enough you could win a bottle of the sunscreen which they are advertising... both my friend and I tried and I did manage to walk away with the bottle of sunscreen for free... luck was on my side...
After all the walking and shopping, we head back to the apartment to study.... did my essay and revision... our host invited us to her house in the evening for a dinner... we left house at 530pm and head off to Gubanpo station...

We got to meet her husband and her kids.... her kids were really very hyper active... especially her daughter... out host prepared a meal for us which include spaghetti, salard and jimdak... Especially like the jimdak, it was a little spicy but after a few bites, it was really very delicious...
 

After the meal, out host brought us to the Hangang river.... apparently there were some festivals there... we got to see the water foundation displays.... it was really very cooling and nice place to go too.... really enjoyed the atmosphere there.... we walked around the area for some time before we head off to Express Bus Terminal to take the express train ride back to our apartment.... good times ends faster than we could think.... I wished I could enjoy this more...

Happy Anniversary Mum and Dad! We went to down town east to dine at Sakura intentional buffet restaurant. Well... I would say that the food there was not as delicious as before. I’ve been there quite a few times and this time round, it’s okay. Overall, I enjoy eating there! I had a great time. We also went shopping because I was too full... I’ve been eating a lot since holiday started. I think I have gain weight! I hope not. School reopening soon; I hope I can do well.

I came back from the Chinese Orchestra camp yesterday and I am very tired. My family and I went to watch the movie Astro Boy as my sister have two free tickets. To me, the story was very interesting. The film begins in Metro City, a small city that floats above Earth, which is now covered in discarded robot parts. Toby Tenma finishes a physics pop quiz ahead of all his classmates and is free to leave, so he rewires Orrin (the family servant robot) who takes Toby to the Ministry of Science. Toby's father, Dr. Tenma, is at the ministry, meeting with President Stone and Dr. Elefun. They have captured two cores of energy, a "positive" (good) core and a "negative" (evil) core. Toby is placed in a room where he is supposed to stay until the end of the demonstration, but he escapes and runs off to the demonstration room.
