Day 101

First stop to Gwangjang Market! Since it was still early in the morning not all the shops are open yet... but we did managed to try all the snacks that my parents wanted to try out.... first we had the Mumg Bean Pancakes Bindaetteok: 빈대떡 that were said to be popular... It was just fried and very oily... doesn't taste that nice after all.... second dish was live octopus, followed by some fish cakes and a cup of refreshing Sikhye 식혜....

    

After all that eating, we head down to express bus terminal to do some shopping.... apparently we spent many hours there.... shopping for all different kinds of things you an think of... we had some light lunch before continuing our journey as we ate quite a lot in the morning...

We had some hotdogs for lunch at the restaurant located at the end of the Express Bus Terminal...

Taste wise was okay... was disappointed with the cheese hot dogs though... it's just a slice of cheese on top of it....

After lunch, we continue to shop again.... then head back to our apartment to rest for a little while before heading out to Hong Dae again for dinner....

We had Jimdak  찜닭 for dinner, it was a little spicy but the price was average.... we also ordered the crispy rice which was used to mixed it together with the remaining sauce from the chicken.... it was just awesome!!

    

After dinner, we walked around the area before having Bing Soo for desserts... since it's my parents last night here in Korea....

    

Bing Soo was a little disappointing I would say...didn't like the one with grapes on it because it wasn't seedless... the taste of it does feels weird though.... melon one was just right... except that you would get a brain freeze if you put too much of the shaved ice into your mouth at one go....

After the Bing Soo, I went back to my apartment to dump some of my stuffs before heading back to my parents apartment to have some drinking session... as I was quite tired from all the walking, I drank a little before I went to bed to sleep.... did spot a few insects here and there which irritates me a lot during my sleep but other than that it was okay.... 

Tomorrow is the last day my parents will be here.... they will be going back to Singapore tomorrow afternoon.... didn't want them to go back so soon... there's still lots more to explore....
