奶奶， 早日康复！

My grandmother was hospitalised again. Yesterday when I was at my 婆婆 house, my dad received a call from 奶奶 saying that grandpa doesn’t have enough strength to carry her up to bring her to the toilet so my dad and I rush down to their place and help them. When we reach there, grandpa was there trying to lift her up but was unable to hence me and my dad help. When we lift her up she was shivering I have no idea why. After several attempts, we managed to lift her up but she did not even move an inch. She was shivering the whole time when my dad told her to move her legs so that she could use the toilet. My dad was angry at that time and he was sort of scolding her. I told my dad to give her some time to move but she did not. Therefore my dad suggests that she wears pampers. So we put her in the wheelchair and wheel her back to her room. We have to lift her up to her bed but because of her fracture in her backbone due to osteoporosis we have to be very careful. However, when we lift her up that time, she mentions that her backbone was very painful. We tried to put pampers for her but we can't because she can't lean on her sides and we can't pull her up to put the pampers. From that time she was in extreme pain. With no choice, my dad called the ambulance. It's my first time seeing the paramedics come to the house. My dad told them the conditions and they were careful with 奶奶. As I mention, when she was asked to moved or as they were trying to lift her up she was in pain. The paramedics’ help her put on some sort of cast on her back to support her back and then lift her to the stretcher. They only allowed one person to follow them to the hospital so I stayed at grandpa house, heat up the left over lunch for our dinner. I waited until 12am before my dad came to fetch me back. By the time I reached home it was 12 plus reaching 1am. Today my family went to visit grandma she was asleep and was on drip(antibiotics) she did woke up and talk to us and after a while she went back to sleep she said that she was tired so We did not disturb her and let her rest. I can see that she is still in pain. I hope she gets well soon.
